Preseason Takes Flight After Strong Opening Turnout

Eastern Hill's preparations for the 2026/27 season are officially underway after a strong turnout at Kings Park on Sunday morning.

A large group of new and returning players came together for the club's opening preseason session, providing an encouraging start as the Eagles prepare for their first season with both A and B Grade competing in the McIntyre Cup.

Seamus said the number of players in attendance had created plenty of early optimism around the club.

“It was really pleasing to see so many faces there Sunday morning to kick things off,” he said.

“It is an encouraging sign for the year ahead and we look forward to getting to work over the next month before Round 1.”

The session marked the beginning of an important month of preparation, with the club continuing to welcome players across all levels ahead of the new season.

Senior preseason training continues at Kings Park on Monday evenings from 5 pm, with new and returning players welcome.
